• Provided professional engineering and geotechnical services to the California State Lands End Commission renewing a lease to operate a wharf at multiple Bay Area facilities, including a Mitigation Monitoring Program (MMP) for Chevron Richmond Refinery wharf, MMP for Plains All American wharf, MMP for Shell Martinez Refinery wharf, Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) and Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for NuStar Selby Marine Oil Terminal, Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) with environmental studies for decommissioning Pacific Refining Hercules Marine Oil Terminal, EIR for Tesoro Golden Eagle Refinery Amorco and Avon wharfs.
• Conducted Remedial Investigations (RI) and Feasibility Studies (FS).
• Designed soil and groundwater remediation systems, obtained permits, constructed the system, operated and maintained the facility.
• Wrote quarterly monitoring report, 5 year evaluations of remediation systems, and site closure report signed and stamped by licensed professional engineer (PE).
• • Have inspected over 150 tank systems at 17 PG&E Facilities. Have written and PE stamped CCR Title 22 and Title 23 Tank System Assessments (TSA’s) and prepared inspection summaries on tanks requiring Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans.
• Inspected dozens of facilities and written Hazardous Materials Business Plans (HMBP’s).
• Inspected facility and wrote report and stamped with licensed chemical engineer (ChE PE) per US EPA requirements to obtain RFS-2 certification for Biodiesel facilities.
• Managed contractor for proper installation of boiler retrofit to achieve new NOx permit limits.
• Team of licensed engineers (PE), geologist (PG), and CIH with combined overall experience of 160 years of industrial experience conducting environmental remediation of soil and groundwater contamination.
• Experienced at making as-built drawings.
